Ontwerpfilosofie

De Heiwa drager combineert het comfort van een zachte draagdoek met het gebruiksgemak van een draagzak. De Heiwa werd volledig door MONKOSE zelf ontworpen, dankzij uitgebreide feedback van jonge ouders en vroedvrouwen.

De term 'Heiwa' verwijst naar het Japanse 'rust' of 'harmonie'. Ze vindt haar oorsprong ook in het Duitse en Scandinavische 'heim' of 'thuis'. Dit idee van rust en zachtheid vormden de inspiratie voor een draagzak die ergonomie, gebruiksgemak en esthetiek op een unieke manier combineren.

Is the Heiwa carrier really suitable for newborns?

Yes, the Monkose Heiwa carrier is suitable for newborns.

In fact, our newborn fit is one of the features we are most proud of! You can use our Heiwa carrier from 3.5 kg, or a baby's clothing size 50. This corresponds to a sturdy, newborn baby. Later, as your newborn grows, our Heiwa carrier can be readjusted for a constant optimal fit.

Is the Heiwa carrier ergonomic?

Yes, ergonomics and safety are our priority and our speciality. They are key features of all our carriers. While Monkose takes great pride in crafting premium hassle-free carriers, ergonomics and safety are non-negotiable. And they always will be.

For the development of its carriers, Monkose continuously collaborates with midwives and parents. (In fact, Monkose founder Linde Stifter actually started her career as a midwife, building experience alongside experts and young parents.)
