For a newborn, you can narrow the back panel to the smallest setting by pulling the drawstrings tight. Place the waistband high under your chest; this way, the back panel will be further shortened. It is very important that the top edge of the carrier does not go higher than the earlobes to ensure sufficient fresh air supply for your little one. Is your baby sitting too deep in the carrier?
