Design philosophy

The HEIWA carrier combines the comfort of a soft baby wrap with the convenience of a buckled carrier.

HEIWA was designed 100% in-house by MONKOSE and was carefully optimized and refined based on elaborate user input and expert feedback.

The term 'HEIWA' refers to peace and harmony in Japanese, and also reflects the word 'heim' - the German and Scandinavian 'home'. This comforting calmness, together with a fascination for ergonomics, expertise and aesthetics were the guiding principles when designing HEIWA.
