The Maker
Monkose was founded in 2024 by Linde Stifter, motivated by her expertise as a midwife and a passion for textile design.
Throughout her practice, Linde often noticed how young parents were frustrated by the complexity of existing baby carriers. This sparked her obsession with creating a new, unique baby carrier that perfectly balances simplicity and ergonomics.
Today, Linde combines her experience and creativity in every new collection of Monkose carriers.

The Product
In 2021, Linde designed the first Heiwa carrier. This carrier combines the comfort of a wrap with the convenience of a buckled carrier, and has been continuously refined based on feedback from parents and midwives.
We closely collaborate with specialized European ateliers for weaving our unique Jacquard fabrics and manufacturing our carriers.
